Boston Consulting Group (BCG) has recently leased nearly 100000 sqft of office space in Mumbai's business district Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC). The office space is located in Maker Maxity's North Avenue 2 and spans across eight floors. The lease agreement is for a total of 10 years with a lock-in per iod of six years. The average starting rent for the space is around Rs 450 per sqft per month with an annual escalation. Over the tenure of the lease agreement BCG is expected to pay rent and deposit totaling over Rs 560 crore. This move represents both consolidation and expansion for BCG as it more than doubles its office space in Mumbai. Currently BCG occupies around 29000 sqft in Nariman Bhavan at Nariman Point and around 18000 sqft of office space in Maker Maxity.
